MakeICT provides resources and activities to help members of our community create. Our flagship program is the MakeICT makerspace – a 22,000 square foot facility which is home to several different areas filled with tools and equipment. MakerSpaces can be viewed as open community labs incorporating elements of machine shops, workshops and/or studios where makers can come together to share resources

and knowledge to build and make things. It’s sort of like a gym, but instead of equipment for building your body, we have equipment for building things – whatever it might be! MakeICT is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and is operated entirely by volunteers. It’s our mission to innovate, learn, and build community at the intersection of art, technology, science, and culture.

We got to make an exciting delivery! MakeICT has an amazing Textile room, with devoted June as their fearless leader! They got a grant and we decided to sponsor the rest! And now an amazing Brother Sews 1700E - Artspira compatible embroidery machine will soon be available to members to use! For fun or to start their own micro business - we are so grateful to get to be a part of inspiring MAKERS! The Make ICT - maker space is a community center that for a small membership of $25/month you get access to a whole school of experts, tools, machines, resources and beyond! Join us Tuesday early evening when we go back and do a LIVE unboxing and simple training of how easy this machine is to operate!
