Spaces for All

Members of the Rotary Club of Greenwood volunteered to help clean the basement of Spaces for All in Whiteland on Saturday morning, August 15. Spaces for All's is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating and maintaining affordable spaces for nonprofits and families in our community. We believe that everyone deserves access to safe and comfortable spaces to live and work in..

The clean-up by Greenwood Rotarians was part of an effort sponsored by Bloom Johnson County, an organization founded to make the county a cleaner and more healthy place to live.

Credit goes to Greenwood Rotarian Nancy Lewark for coordinating and managing the event. Other volunteers included Greenwood Rotarians Chuck Dobbins, Dan Wagner, Steve Burkhardt, Steve Powell and Nancy's husband, Greg Lewark, a member of the Center Grove Rotary Club. Salvageable items from the clean-up were donated to Habitat For Humanity, ReStore and Goodwill of Johnson County.
