🔺✨ What an outstanding weekend at the 159th Annual Meeting of the Indiana Council of Deliberation! ✨🔺
This weekend was a powerful reminder of what makes the Scottish Rite so special—Brotherhood, education, leadership, service, and a commitment to leaving our fraternity stronger than we found it.
I was honored to represent the Lodge of Perfection Line of the Valley of Indianapolis alongside my fellow line brothers, Dan Purkey, Ernst Buckingham, and Mike Steele. It was a privilege to spend the weekend with Brothers from across Indiana while hearing from outstanding leaders including Sovereign Grand Commander Walt Wheeler, 33°, Deputy of Indiana Paul C. St. Pierre, 33°, and Indiana Grand Master John A. Bridegroom, 33°. Their vision, leadership, and commitment to our fraternity provided inspiration and direction for the future. 🤝❤️💛
📚 The educational sessions were exceptional. From discussions on Journey 365, Passport, and Pathfinder to member engagement and leadership development, it was exciting to see the innovation, vision, and dedication being invested into the future of the Scottish Rite.
🏅 A heartfelt congratulations to all of the Brothers who received the Meritorious Service Award (MSA)! This prestigious recognition reflects years of dedication, sacrifice, and service to your Valleys, your Brothers, and our fraternity. Indiana Scottish Rite is stronger because of your efforts. Well deserved, Brothers! 👏🎉
❤️ One of the most inspiring moments of the weekend was hearing about the impact of the Grand Almoner’s Fund. Through the generosity of Scottish Rite Masons, more than $11 million has been raised to assist Brothers, widows, and families facing hardship, illness, disasters, and unexpected challenges. That is Freemasonry in action—taking care of our own when they need us most. 🙏
🌹 While the Brothers attended meetings and educational sessions, our ladies enjoyed fellowship, lunch, and a wonderful visit to the Terre Haute Children’s Museum, making this a memorable weekend for the entire Scottish Rite family.
🙌 Thank you to the Indiana Council of Deliberation leadership, the Valley of Terre Haute, the presenters, volunteers, and everyone who worked behind the scenes to make this event such a success.
I leave this weekend inspired, energized, and proud to be a Scottish Rite Mason.
