A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Friends from Briar Creek Villas ❀️
We are incredibly grateful to our amazing volunteers from Briar Creek Villas for once again sharing the gift of their time to help with a variety of projects that support the older adults we are honored to serve.
There is something truly special about neighbors helping neighbors. When a community comes together to care for one another, lives are changed, burdens are lightened, and hope is strengthened. Your willingness to step up and lend a helping hand is a beautiful reminder that kindness and service still thrive in our community.
Thank you for continuing to come back and support our mission. Your servant hearts, dedication, and compassion make a meaningful difference, and we are blessed by your partnership. Every project you help complete allows us to better serve seniors throughout our county.
We look forward to welcoming you back again soon! Thank you for being such a wonderful example of community, generosity, and caring for others. πŸ’™

🌟 STOP BY SPOTLIGHT
We love when our community partners and volunteers stop by to connect, collaborate, and make a difference!
Some people walk into your life for a season, while others become family. Over 11 years ago, Mike Dale stopped by our office while on a mission to identify where the greatest disparities existed in our county and to learn who and where the most underserved populations were. That journey led him to JCSS.
The day we met, Mike stayed in my office for nearly three hours. We talked, prayed, laughed, and even shed a few tears. From that day forward, Mike instantly became part of our JCSS family, along with our dear friends at Fair Haven Christian Church with Pastor Brian Clark leading the charge.
For more than a decade, Mike has faithfully served older adults throughout our county, helping alleviate food insecurity and ensuring that those who are at-risk and in need receive the support they deserve. Whether it's helping pick up and deliver food or serving behind the scenes, Mike never hesitates to answer the call(well he might hesitate…but he still answers 😊). Even on days when his body is hurting, he continues to work tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of others.
Mike is a truly deserving recipient of our William T. Murphy Servant's Heart Award. I am incredibly thankful to call him a co-laborer for our Lord, a brother in Christ, comic relief when we need it most, and an authentic friend.
A huge thank you as well to Ron, Fred, Ed, Tom, Terry, and Teresa for your help on those heavy Midwest Food Bank load-out days. Your servant hearts and willingness to serve are a tremendous blessing to our seniors and our community.
Our hearts are forever grateful to the Lord for leading Mike and all of our volunteers to JCSS! What a gift each of you are!
πŸ’• Blessings to you all!

🌟 STOP BY SPOTLIGHT
We love when our community partners and volunteers stop by to connect, collaborate, and make a difference! Fundraisers are absolutely necessary, as we continue to serve the most underfunded, underserved, and the most unappreciated precious souls in our county. So with the help of amazing community partners like Jenny and Julia from Cedar Creek of Franklin, providing silent auction baskets, sponsorships, raffle baskets, gift cards, etc. are all HUGE blessings to our agency! So thank you very much to our friends at Cedar Creek for choosing to make a positive difference in the lives of others! We greatly appreciate your heart to serve!πŸ’•

What an incredible blessing! We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Franklin Police Department under the leadership of Chief Kirby Cochran, along with Haley, and the entire department, for their unwavering support of our mission to help reduce, and prayerfully one day eliminate, senior hunger in our county.
A special thank you to our amazing community members who chose to show up on behalf of the most underfunded, underserved, and sadly often unappreciated generation in our county and beyond. Your generosity speaks volumes and reminds our seniors that they are seen, valued, and loved.
We are also deeply grateful to everyone who shared the FPD "Fill the Cruiser" Facebook post. Every share helped spread awareness, expand our reach, and move our mission forward in a meaningful way.
A huge shoutout to Franklin Kroger for graciously hosting this food drive once again this year. Your continued partnership makes a tremendous difference in the lives of the seniors we are privileged to serve.
As always, a very special thank you to our incredible volunteers, Mike Dale, Terry McGuire, and Teresa Crawford, also to Melissa and Ray for generously giving their time and energy to help with the collection, transportation, and stocking of this generation's gift. Your servant hearts are a blessing beyond measure.
To everyone who donated, volunteered, shared a post, offered encouragement, or played any role in making this food drive a success, thank you. We are beyond grateful for your compassion, generosity, and commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of our seniors. Together, we are bringing hope, dignity, and nourishment to an amazing generation that has given so much to all of us.
Blessings and heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you!

Eight years ago, our journey with Bluff Creek Christian Church began with a generous donation of Thanksgiving turkeys for the seniors we are blessed to serve. What started as one act of kindness has grown into years of unwavering support, generosity, and compassion.
We are incredibly grateful for the many ways this amazing congregation has continued to bless our seniors and our organization. Time and time again, they have demonstrated what it means to have servant hearts and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
Your kindness, generosity, and commitment to helping this incredible generation have touched countless lives. We are humbled and honored to serve our seniors each day, and we are deeply thankful to have partners like Bluff Creek Christian Church walking alongside us in this mission.
Thank you for your open hearts, your faithful support, and for being such a tremendous blessing. Together, we are making a meaningful difference in the lives of so many. ❀️
