What started decades ago as a simple act of obedience by my parents has grown into a family mission that has helped thousands of people find freedom and healing through Christ at Bear Creek Ranch.

More than 2,000 years ago, Jesus promised us life to the full (John 10:10).
For years, Jacki struggled with depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts. Every day felt heavy, and hope seemed out of reach.

Then one day, a stranger handed her a note that said, “Your joy is going to save lives.”

At the time, Jacki couldn't imagine what that meant.

But after coming to Bear Creek, everything changed. The depression lifted. The anxiety left. The suicidal thoughts disappeared. Today, she's not just surviving—she's living in the freedom and joy God promised her and sharing that hope with others.

Every breakthrough has a back story.
Long before anyone walks through our doors, our team is praying.

We spend weeks praying for guys like Mike, who came to our retreat feeling “stuck.” He’d gone through endless cycles of making progress in his healing, then going back to his old, destructive habits.

After the retreat, Mike told us that everything shifted for him that weekend:
“I feel like I’m finally hearing from God. More of my prayers are answered. I have a love for God and a love for people I didn’t know was possible. There’s still setbacks. There’s still struggles. But I love the light.”

This year, the United States of America celebrates 250 years of freedom. The founding fathers of our country paid the ultimate price in hopes that future generations of Americans – men, women, and children they knew they would never meet – could enjoy life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
