If you’ve been meaning to join us on the water this year, today is the day. We are closing out our boating season with one last morning of fellowship, music, and the Word out on the open lake.

The early fall air is crisp, the skies are clear, and the conditions couldn't be better for gathering together on the water before boats are tucked away for the winter.

Location: Rec Cove, Allatoona Lake

Time: Tie-up starts at 10AM, Service starts around 10:30AM

How to Join: Idle in, tie up alongside your neighbors, or drop anchor nearby.

What to Bring
Family, friends, and neighbors

Life jackets and extra bumpers/dock lines for tieing up

A warm morning layer and your favorite coffee or breakfast drink

Come as you are—whether by bowrider, pontoon, jet boat, or kayak. Let’s celebrate an incredible season together!

We will be cancelling our August 23rd Sermon on the Water Church service due to the funeral of a dear friend.

We will move the service from August 23rd to August 30th. So mark your calendars and update your printed schedules accordingly. Go ahead and start inviting your friends to come out to Sermon on the Water on August 30th.

Thank you again to those who sent their love to Rachel and Robert at Victoria over the past couple of weeks. We had a beautiful lakeside funeral service for Rachel yesterday. Please continue to pray for Robert and the family as they continue to mourn.

Church Service this Sunday 7/12/2026!

Just checked the weather again, and it looks like we should be good for our Service in Rec Cove on Sunday. Hopefully, the rain will stay away until much later in the day on Sunday.

Thank you to the many that have send their love to Rachel and Robert at Victoria during the week. It has been heart warming to see our boating community coming together to meet their needs. I will spend some more time with them this weekend and pray with them on Sunday. Continue to lift them up in your prayers as the doctors have given her about another month to live. She now has hospice care coming to the campground to help her with the pain.
