Today we want to do a shout out to one of our homeowners, who quickly became a dedicated COVER Store Volunteer, Pam! 🥳
This past winter we weatherized her home and then once the snow melted, we helped her to rebuild her stairway up the hill into her home. If you scroll to the end, you'll see the gorgeous finished product!
"Before our first frost, I installed the window inserts for the first time, that Cover was so kind and generous to have made for me and installed last fall.
First of all, they are lightweight and so simple to insert. Most importantly, they are so completely airtight that I don't believe I will have to put back the heavy wooded ones that came with the house, which need to be hooked on each window from the outside.
I am very grateful to you all, not only for the inserts, but for the professionally custom made wooden exterior staircase that not only keeps me safe, but is also very nice looking!"
If you happen to come by the store on a Tuesday afternoon, you'll catch Pam (and her mini poodle Piper, seen off to the left in the first picture) happily sorting and organizing donations. We're so grateful for such a wonderful story, note, and another successful COVER story!
Thank you Pam! 🥰
