WLTFD assisted in a "send off" for the Walled Lake Northern Knights Women's Softball team, to the State Championship final 4 in Lansing today where they achieved a 2-1 victory over Northville. Securing their spot in the final Championship game this Saturday. Congratulations, you have our support!

This morning Cameron & Nolan got to "Ride to School" in a fire truck. The weather was perfect to allow for some additional classroom fun and spray the hose.

At last night's township board meeting, Matt Combs was officially sworn in as Sergeant for our department. He was recognized for his hard work, dedication, and commitment to serving our community.

Be advised - Due to a gas line strike, until further notice Porter Rd south of Grass Lake Rd will be closed while consumers works on mitigating the leak. This could take several hours.

White Lake Township Fire Department has been on scene doing air monitoring, there is no immediate hazard to the homes in the area.

Today WLTFD Firefighters practiced foam application techniques. At WLTFD, we use only environmentally safe, PFAS free, 100 percent biodegradable firefighting foam.

Over the past two weeks, the White Lake Township Fire Department have responded to not one, but two unusual rescue calls involving trapped ducks. 🦆

In both incidents, crews worked quickly and carefully to free the ducks and get them safely back on their way. While fire departments are known for handling emergencies big and small, sometimes the calls come with a few extra feathers.

Whether it’s a structure fire, medical emergency, or helping wildlife in need, our firefighters are always ready to answer the call.
