A state-certified, nationally accredited residential facility for boys ages 6-12 who have been removed from their home by WV DHHR due to emotional and psychological problems often as a results of abuse/neglect. Our First Annual Cedar Point Trip Was a Success!

What an incredible experience for the boys at St. John’s Home for Children. Thanks to the generosity of numerous donors from near and far, our first annual Cedar Point trip became a reality.

For many of our boys, this was their first-ever overnight vacation. From staying in a hotel, swimming, eating out, and spending a full day at Cedar Point, the trip was filled with fun, excitement, and new experiences.

Most importantly, it gave our boys the chance to set aside their worries, make lasting memories, and simply enjoy being kids.

We are so grateful to everyone who helped make this special trip possible. Your support created an experience our boys will never forget.

A Proud Day at St. John’s

One of our boys made us incredibly proud at the Ritchie Elementary School Awards Ceremony, where he received an impressive 10 awards.

While we are thrilled with his academic accomplishments, the awards that mean the most to us recognize the person he has become. He was recognized for being kind, caring, compassionate, and always willing to help others.

Watching him grow into a respectful young gentleman has been a joy, and we could not be prouder of his hard work, character, and determination. Congratulations on this well-deserved achievement.

A huge shout out to Bearded Brothers for making one of our boys' birthday extra special!

They went above and beyond by hosting a birthday celebration complete with singing, cake, and presents. Most importantly, they made him feel celebrated, valued, and cared for. He was treated like a king today, and the smiles on his face said it all.
