We are in need of handwritten cards and letters to the troops! We include these important items in our Comfort and Care Packages and they are the first item deployed troops see when opening our 20 pound care packages. Requests for our Comfort and Care Packages have been increasing over the last several months and our supply of cards and letters are just about depleted. Teen Time at Loaves & Fishes is a wonderful opportunity for students to gain experience, make new friends, and keep them busy during the summer! Above this however, they will walk away feeling a sense of pride and confidence by giving back to their community.

This Friday, May 1st our friends at Naperville Sunrise Rotary are hosting a Drive-Up and Drop-Off Diaper Collection benefiting West Suburban Community Pantry from 8:00–10:00 AM at Naperville Country Club located at 25W570 Chicago Avenue.

Diapers (especially sizes 4, 5 & 6), baby wipes, pull-ups, diaper creams and ointments, and feminine hygiene products are some of our most needed items—as these cannot be purchased with SNAP benefits.

These essentials make a real difference for the many families we serve each week across DuPage & Will Counties. Drive by, drop off, and help us make Mother’s Day a little easier for local families!
