Earlier this week, participants from our Expeditions Community Support Program joined the folks at Community Harvest to volunteer at Eva's Cafe. Eva's Cafe is a free monthly community meal hosted in Kennebunk in honor of Eva Barnfather. Our participants love having the opportunity to give back to their community each month.

Join our Adult Case Management team next Thursday, November 5th for their Parent & Caregiver Connect series, hosted in person at our Training & Resource Center in Westbrook. In November, the group will talk about caregiving as we approach the holiday season. You are encouraged to bring your ideas and concerns to share!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Woodfords’ exclusive evening at Hurricane Meadows! We welcomed 150 of our consumers, staff, and their families into the park. The rain held off and the sun shone down for a beautiful fall evening. The new attractions were huge hits, especially the combine slide! We extend our immense gratitude to Hurricane Meadows Fall Festival for helping us coordinate this experience and for hosting our crew with smiling faces.

This evening was made possible by the many donors who contributed to Woodfords’ Community Fund. Contributions to the Community Fund allow us to continue to host events just like this all throughout the year.

Woodfords' Shared Living Services is growing its team of providers in Southern and Central Maine. Shared Living Providers can be the parent or relative of the adult they serve, or interested providers can be matched with adults looking to gain more independence in their residential setting.
