Education Grants
The Weavers Guild of Boston sets aside money for educational grants that are available to all Guild members in good standing for one year.
All members are encouraged to continue exploring and learning by applying for these non-need-based grants. The educational grants can be used for the cost of tuition for any weaving-related workshop such as WGBs morning workshops or special workshops, or those sponsored by others guilds or weaving schools such as Convergence or NEWS.
In return, the Guild asks that you give give back by sharing what you’ve learned in some way such as a notebook, a presentation, an article in the Newsletter and/or volunteering with the Guild. Each grant can be a maximum of $500 with a lifetime cap of $1000 per person.
Anyone interested in applying can find the application on the Guild website or email Risa Burns at [email protected].
