IOMA was pleased to participate in DMU’s Club Day. Staff member Macy Cowman, President Dr. Olson, and Board Member Dr. Woolley engaged with students and welcomed new members to the organization. This event continues to be a meaningful opportunity to support and encourage future osteopathic physicians.

Coming this fall: GLPs Across Specialties

IOMA’s Fall virtual CME series will take a closer look at GLP-1 medications across a range of clinical topics and patient populations.

One featured session, presented by Dr. Brian Quinn, will explore GLP-1 Use In The Elderly, including the evidence-based benefits and risks to consider in older adults.

Please join us in congratulating Courtney Maire, recipient of the 2026 IOMA Service Achievement Award.

Throughout her time at Des Moines University, Courtney distinguished herself as a student leader, advocate, and dedicated member of the osteopathic community. Her service as President of DMU SOMA and participation in DO Day on the Hill reflect her commitment to both her peers and the future of osteopathic medicine.
