Iowa PA Society IPAS's primary purpose is to help PAs provide accessible, affordable, quality patient care.

Founded in 1974 as a constituent chapter of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, IPAS's primary purpose is to help PAs provide accessible, affordable quality patient care. As with any professional society, members working together make the difference. IPAS monitors legislative reimbursement issues and supports changes that make the profession better able to provide quality patient care. W

Two full days of learning, collaboration, and connection at the 2026 Spring CME 👏

Attendees engaged in timely legislative updates, in‑depth clinical sessions spanning dermatology, oncology, imaging, cardiology, mental health, and pharmacology, and hands‑on joint injection training.

Conversations also focused on the future of the PA profession, advocacy efforts at both the state and national level, and practical approaches to patient care across diverse settings.
