Last night, Ami Hokomoto, Row + Renew leader, christened the “Above + Beyond” boat!

Many members of the Above + Beyond Cancer regatta team and participants of the Row + Renew classes attended the celebration. We appreciate the partnership with the Des Moines Rowing Club and EMC Insurance for sponsoring the program over the years!

What an incredible board we have! A special thank you to Cheryl Harding for her service and leadership as Board Chair over the last 2 years. We are thrilled she will be serving on the board for 1 more year!

We also thank Rebecca Groetken Moomey & Rick Exline as outgoing Board Members. Becky served as the chair and an executive committee member, with a culmination of 7 years as a board member.

Rick has been a strong supporter of A+BC going on 2 Transformational Journeys, served as chair of the governance committee, and was also on the executive committee. Their leadership will certainly be missed!

Thank you to Cyd's Catering for the wonderful spread, a special shoutout to Steve Mall for the amazing, wooden plaques, and The Arrangement DSM for the flower bouquet!
