A little birdie told us that Polar was looking for candy to hand out to the trick-or-treaters, so we sprung into action to help him out! In addition to dropping off unopened bags of candy at WRPD, you can also save a trip while shopping and drop them off at our local West Richland Yokes. Polar's Candy Chute is at the front of the store at the customer service counter. We'll make sure that Polar gets his candy. Candy collection is only at the West Richland Yokes. Thank you in advance for helping with this incredible community event.

Polar is ready to pass out candy to all of the trick-o-treaters. The only problem is his suitcase has no candy in it. WRPD will be hosting a haunted house again this year from 5-8 on Oct. 31. The event is free and has a carnival themed lobby with a seperate haunted house for those who enjoy the scare.

We are seeking candy to hand out again this year. When you are picking up a bag for your home trick-o-treaters grab an extra one to donate to WRPD. We are accepting donations Monday-Thursday 8-4 and fridays 8-12.

Thank you all in advance for making this kid safe Halloween event great for the 850+ kids who come through the doors.

We have several community partners within West Richland that we are extremely grateful for. One is West Richland Chamber of Commerce. Their dedication to helping small volunteer based nonprofits like ours through networking opportunities and their inclusion of us in community events is appreciated so much!

At the last WR Chamber Networking Luncheon, we were presented with a very generous donation which will allow us to continue our mission of helping those within West Richland with unmet resident needs identified through West Richland Police Department Officers and our community contacts at the board level. Without support through generous businesses and residents, we wouldn't be able to do the volunteer work that we do."

Thank you West Richland Chamber! You all Rock!!!

We turn 8 years old today and are excited to share our new logo with you! We were formed in 2017 and added our Doing Business As (DBA) earlier this year. When we added "police" in our DBA, we wanted to emphasize the incredible community partnership that we have with the West Richland Police Department (WRPD). Our partnership allows WRPD Officers to immediately assist with community needs that align with our funding policies. These items have included car seats and infant supplies, emergency overnight lodging to diffuse domestic disputes, food and fuel assistance and items for basic human needs.

As a board, we also work with the West Richland School Administration and our community contacts to identify and help with needs. While we continually look for ways to help strengthen our community, we rely on the generosity of local residents and businesses to provide assistance.
