Tumbleweed Cat Rescue Tumbleweed Cat Rescue is an all-volunteer, foster-based rescue in Tri-Cities, WA. *No public intakes* Getting cats out of small kennels and into foster homes 3.

*No public intakes, only transfers from rescues and shelters*
TCR intakes cats and kittens from animal control agencies in order to promote:
1. Local jurisdictions collecting accurate data on cat overpopulation
2. Animal Control Officers and local Authorities handling cases of animal neglect and data on the individuals and neighborhoods habitually having stray and unwanted animal overpopulation

/repopulation. Promoting these ideals can increase the burden on animal control agencies and shelters, however we believe this is the best way to gain leadership awareness of local animal issues and gain support for an increase in support to those agencies. We prioritize intaking the young, sick, injured, and/or longest residents from the shelter. We're looking for a foster home for a very friendly FeLV+ (progressive) cat! She's been living in a shelter for many months and we would like to get her into a loving home, for however long she may have. She's a snuggly, biscuit-making, adorable girl! She has no apparent symptoms or health concerns at this time.

FeLV is feline leukemia virus. It can't be shared to humans, dogs etc, but is shared between cats living together so she would ideally have a home without other cats or with another FeLV cat.

Today we celebrate the very special adoption of Ms. Mila! She has been so depressed since losing her previous person and finally found comfort in a new home with these two loving ladies! They brought her home as a foster-to-adopt and she's absolutely made herself at home, purring up a storm and snuggling everyone.

We couldn't be happier for Mila with her high standards; they've clearly been met and exceeded.
