Bridget Hylak and Joseph Lee Ho**er met in Medjugorje, Yugoslavia on Easter Sunday in 1990, and they are pictured here celebrating their 34th wedding anniversary in Medjugorje on October 7, 2025. After meeting in Medjugorje, they became engaged just one week later, but Bridget sought guidance from Mother Teresa, who counseled the couple throughout their 1 1/2 year engagement. The couple married on October 7, 1991, on the Feast of the Holy Rosary. As an international Pro-Life speaker for 35 years, Bridget Hylak has traveled extensively. Say Yes To Jesus. Throughout the 1990s, she spoke across the United States and in Venezuela, including World Youth Day 1993 in Denver, CO with Pope John Paul II. She was a keynote speaker in Mexico for Vida Fest in Queretaro 2013 & 2014, Durango 2014, Guadalajara 2013, Urapaun, Michoacan 2013,Irapuato, GTO 2014, and San Jose, Costa Rica in 2015. Bridget has appeared numerous times on EWTN and EWTN Español, as well as Catholic TV.
