Ephesians 4:24
and that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

How do you put on a new man? Is it like an article of clothing you put on in the morning and take off at the end of the day. If you are already a new creation IN CHRIST, how can you put on something that you already are? As someone who is already a brand new person altogether IN CHRIST, you have now been united to Jesus as one spirit with him. 1 Corinthians 6:17, 2 Corinthians 5:17. The old person you were has been completely remade to look just like Christ in every way. You are now just as righteous, holy, spotless, blameless, perfected as Jesus himself. That’s grace!!
So again, how can you put on something you already are?
You decide everyday, that yes you are a completely new creature IN CHRIST. You are the very righteousness of God himself IN CHRIST. He is the tree and you are the branch, the very same life that flows in Him is now flowing in you no matter what. You decide that IN HIM you live, you move, and you have your being—identity!!! You decide that throughout the day if you encounter absolutely anything that comes against you, you will not be condemned towards it. You are seated far above it. If it can’t condemn Jesus or be bigger than Him, than it can’t me neither. This all happens in the mind, your choice of thinking. What you decide to think, ponder, meditate, believe, put your focus and attention on, your imagination.
In the spirit man, the real you, you are made perfect IN HIM. Hebrews 10:14. But you must put on this new man IN CHRIST in your thinking everyday.
