Kevin and Alyssa had an absolutely wonderful time at our Seed-And-Scale Grantee, Max’s Kicks for Kids Charity Golf Outing! It was the most perfect day on the golf course and we are proud to support their work to provide new, brand-name sneakers to students in need through Shoe Closets set up in Coatesville middle schools, letting staff quickly get a child a fitted pair rather than relying on a request-list model. Intends to help about 400 students feel confident, fit in socially, and stay active in PE and sports.

Kari Wood wears many hats! At Penn Medicine she’s known as an amazing oncology nurse. If you’ve played in any of our golf outings, you know her as an excellent cookie baker. Thank you to The Alliance for Health Equity! With your support, we were able to take these young people from Coatesville Youth Initiative shopping for new sneakers. The kids from CYI’s Service Corps had a blast choosing their new shoes. They’ll be heading back to school looking good and feeling confident 💛🩷👟🩷💛
