We meet every Thursday at 12:00 noon, at the West Chester Golf & Country Club (111 W. Ashbridge Street).

The Rotary Club of West Chester is an organization of business and professional leaders, who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and work to build good will and peace in the world. The Club was chartered May 1, 1921, by twenty-three community leaders who wanted to make a difference. It is now one of 31,000 clubs worldwide, in 166 different countries. Following its motto, "service above self," the West Chester club has provided service to the community and the world for over 8 decades and has now grown to 121 members. The object of Rotary is to foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise. We do this through various service projects including:
• conducting a major fruit sale to raise funds for a selected charity;
• conducting the Chili Cook-off each fall to raise funds for local and world community efforts;
• providing funds for drilling 22 deep wells in Bangladesh;
• sponsoring Youth Exchange which brings two foreign students to the area and sends two local high school students to foreign countries, each for a year, to build world peace and understanding;
• sponsoring leadership development opportunities and programs for, and recognizing and awarding high achieving high school students;
• contributing generously to Rotary Foundation to assist in world service programs.

From a 1% chance of survival to 15 years as a walking, living miracle.

This week, Rotary welcomes Ethan A. Poetic, a Coatesville native, author, national speaker, entrepreneur, and certified Mental Health First Aider.

Ethan has transformed his experience surviving a near-fatal car accident into a mission of encouraging and empowering youth, adults, community leaders, and organizations to overcome adversity and life’s challenges.

We’re looking forward to an inspiring program and a powerful reminder of resilience, hope, and what it means to keep moving forward.

For decades, Rotary members around the world have worked toward an extraordinary goal: ending polio.

Through vaccination efforts, fundraising, advocacy, and partnerships, Rotary has helped make tremendous progress toward a polio-free world.

💙💛 Rotary Connecting with Our Community!

Members of the Rotary Club of West Chester were proud to participate in the Senior Expo hosted by Pennsylvania Senator Carolyn Comitta!

The event brought together local organizations, businesses, and community resources dedicated to supporting seniors throughout Chester County.

Our Rotarians enjoyed meeting attendees, sharing information about Rotary’s community service initiatives, and highlighting the many ways our Club works to make a difference locally and beyond. 🌎

Events like these are a wonderful opportunity to connect with our neighbors, build relationships, and spread the word about Rotary’s mission of Service Above Self!

🌍 Making a Difference Across Borders! 💙💛

For years, our very own Ernest Zlotolow, PDG, has been dedicated to improving the lives of students and families in El Tigre, Argentina, through Rotary’s commitment to Service Above Self.

His efforts continue to make a lasting impact! Most recently, through a successful charity event and partnership with the Rotary Club of El Tigre, Ernest helped secure six new generators for local schools, providing much-needed resources to support students and their education. 📚⚡

This latest accomplishment is just one example of Ernest’s years of dedication to strengthening communities and creating opportunities for future generations.

The Rotary Club of West Chester is collecting items for Stockings for Soldiers from October 8 through November 5.

Members can bring donated items to a Rotary meeting and place them in the collection box.

Suggested donations include:
⭐ Granola bars
⭐ Halloween candy (non-chocolate preferred)
⭐ Wet wipes
⭐ Toothpaste & dental floss
⭐ Deodorant
⭐ Lip balm
⭐ Drink mix packets
⭐ Hair ties
⭐ Puzzle & game books
