What an incredible day celebrating this milestone with our team, family, friends, and community!

Behind the aesthetic drinks and fun photos is a team of individuals learning new skills every day. From customer service and communication to handling mistakes, busy moments, and everything in between. We appreciate your patience, encouragement, and support as we all grow in confidence and experience.

Seeing our team standing together in this photo is a reminder of why we started. People with disabilities face unemployment rates as high as 80%, and we’re proud to be creating opportunities that help change that reality.

The 35th Wendell Classic Golf Tournament was a tremendous success!

We welcomed 104 golfers to the Wendell Country Club with the strong support of 39 generous sponsors and over 30 dedicated volunteers. Despite a rainy day leading to a date change, the Wendell Country Club team was very accommodating and had the course in excellent condition.

A special thank you to our Champion Sponsor, Perry Planning Group, and our Pro Sponsor, Universal Chevrolet Co . We also had another fantastic year partnering with BackSwing Golf Events

Lastly, heartfelt thanks to all our members who generously donated prizes for our winning golfers. We couldn’t have done it without you!

A big thank you to all of our sponsors of the 35th Annual Wendell Classic Golf Tournament. While the excitement was high at Universal Chevrolet’s 4th Hole, no one managed to score a hole-in-one this year, meaning the $10,000 prize remains unclaimed.

A special thank you to the Rotary Club of Wendell North Carolina for adding to the excitement with a donated putter prize for the event.

A special shoutout goes to our on-course food and beverage partners for keeping everyone fueled throughout the day. Thank you to Carolina Brewing Company , Farmhouse Cafe Wendell , Chick-fil-A Wendell Falls , and WoodPile BBQ for the great food and refreshments!

Flag Day, June 14th, celebrates the 249th birthday of the American Flag. It is a time to reflect on the values our flag represents: freedom, unity, service, and sacrifice. It is also an opportunity to honor the generations of Americans who have worked to preserve these ideals.

The Wendell Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize the businesses, organizations, veterans, first responders, and community members who contribute to the strength and character of our town each day.
