Thanks to the Redwood 4H the score board got a new coat of paint today - here is the history of the score board -

in 1980 Wendell Lions Club President Irv Jandt renamed the athletic field in honor of lifelong, Wendell area resident James Kube. James Kube a lifelong baseball enthusiast, was a player for many years and a supporter of every league and game played in the Wendell Community. He loved baseball and a fitting memorial to him is the new scoreboard and teh renaming of the athletic field.
