Mad Viking Beard Club started in 2013 as a small group of friends trying to outgrow each other in bearding to a tight brotherhood of beards.We get together to do everything from community outreach projects and charity work to competitive bearding. o everything from community outreach projects and charity work to competitive bearding. We've put on 4 national competitions that brought in people from all corners of the globe and raised tens of thousands of dollars for charities such as veterans groups and children's hospitals. We've also put on many local competitions within our community to raise funds for more local endeavors. Now in 2017 we are creating a Veterans outreach and advocacy program called "Together We Can" which will be a 501c3 outfit that uses the power of our National Beard Club structure to not only provide support online or over the phone to veterans in need, but to also place "boots on the ground" to fix other problems disabled veterans may have, such as home repairs, transportation concerns and employment.
