TEAMS is a premier, non-profit early child education center with two locations - Wenatchee serving children birth through six years old, and Cashmere serving children 2.5 to five years old. We offer a quality learning center where parents can take their young children to have fun learning. We are available for drop-in and pre-scheduled classes for 0 to 5 year olds, Monday through Friday from 9am to 12noon, 1pm to 4pm and an evening session for all ages from 5pm to 8pm. We are serving the young children in the Wenatchee valley and their families, caregivers and teachers. We provide children with a fun learning environment where parents and teachers can learn with their children and be able to gather resources and support. We strive to become a gathering place for early learning professionals by offering merit/stars training as well as support group meetings. We include the whole family by offering parent support groups and new sibling or baby-sitting training for older children. We reach out to the community with fun family events as fun raisers.

Today we are happy to announce that we have been awarded a grant from the Confluence Health and Wenatchee Valley Medical Group Community Health Partnership Fund managed by the Confluence Health Foundation. This grant is co-funded by the two groups to provide community support to organizations and causes in Chelan, Douglas, Grant, and Okanogan counties that enhance not only health and wellness directly, but also projects that work to address the social determinants of health.

This past summer we submitted our application to the Confluence Health and Wenatchee Valley Medical Group Community Health Partnership Fund Committee for TEAMS' new project, "Belonging Together", a parent connection group that is meant to bring communities together, and we are happy to report that we received a grant to support this work!

We want to thank our partners at Confluence Health, the Wenatchee Valley Medical Group, and the Confluence Health Foundation for their support and are looking forward to all the good this grant will do. We are excited to get started and are so thankful to each of you as well for your efforts supporting this work.

We’re exploring our new art curriculum at TEAMS Learning Center! Through cooperative group art activities, our children are learning to create, share ideas, and appreciate the unique creativity of their friends. These hands-on experiences encourage children to explore different materials and artistic techniques while building confidence as young artists.

Art in early learning is about so much more than the finished product! As children paint, draw, cut, glue, and create together, they’re strengthening fine motor skills, practicing hand-eye coordination, developing patience, and learning how to work as a team. Most importantly, they’re discovering that there’s no one “right” way to be creative—and that making art is meant to be fun!

TEAMS wants to take a moment to thank München Haus for their generosity! This September, Munchen Haus hosted a benevolent night to support early learning in our community. We LOVE our community and the amazing businesses and organizations that continue to show up for local children and families.

Another big thank you to Mountain Sprouts Children's Community for being present at the event and helping make it happen. We’re looking forward to more opportunities for collaboration in community events and fundraising in the future! ✨

A huge thank you to our incredible TEAMS families and community for being a part of our annual Read-A-Thon fundraiser! Our students raised $2,440 and read a total of 2,505 minutes. 📚✨

We are so grateful for the incredible support from our families, staff, and community throughout this fundraiser. Because of you, the funds raised have allowed both our Cashmere and Wenatchee locations to create even more meaningful literacy spaces, including our updated cozy reading corners and our Pre-K reading cube! These spaces give children opportunities to slow down, explore books, build language skills, and develop a love for reading.

🚗🚌 Transportation Week! ✈️🚂
This week, our Early Learners and Pre-k kids have been learning all about transportation and building useful skills through play! From reading transportation books and practicing conversations at our ticket station, to building their own cars and race tracks, the children have been exploring transportation in hands-on, meaningful ways.

Our classrooms have been transformed into an under-the-sea adventure! 🌊🐠 Our students are exploring ocean science, artistic creativity, teamwork, and so much more through hands-on ocean exploration.

From ocean-themed books and creative crafts to spending time with our underwater class pet, our young learners are discovering what makes our oceans so amazing! 🐙🐋🪼

✨Field-trip to Martin’s Market! 🏘️🥞

This week Teacher Melinda’s Pre-k students dove into the world of recipes. After deciding to make pancakes, our students made a plan and set out to purchase their ingredients! We love giving our students hands-on, real world experiences.

Today, the kids will be putting their literacy, math, and fine motor skills to work as the read the recipe, measure out the ingredients, and flip their delicious pancakes!

Our student are SO excited to be cooking but if you decide you need an evening off from cooking, come join us at Leavenworth’s München Haus on Tuesday, August 4th. From 4 pm to 10 pm, 25% of all sales will be going toward Early Learning on our area!

Our Pre-K kids have been busy practicing one of the most important life skills—working together! Through games, projects, and everyday classroom experiences, our students are learning how to cooperate, solve problems as a team, encourage one another, and appreciate the community around them. These early lessons help build kindness, confidence, and a sense of belonging that extends far beyond the classroom.

Want to help strengthen our local community too? Join us for Benevolent Nights at München Haus in Leavenworth on Monday, August 4, from 4:00–10:00 PM! During the event, 25% of all sales will be donated towards Early Learning!

We're excited to partner with Mountain Sprouts Children's Community to bring our love for learning by providing hands-on kids' activities during Benevolent Night. We hope to see you there!

This week, our Early Learners explored Literacy by reading alongside teachers, creating their very own storybooks, and using fine motor skills to illustrate stories that expressed their ideas, feelings, and imaginations. Through hands-on art and storytelling, children discovered that their voices and creativity have the power to tell meaningful stories.

These early literacy experiences spark curiosity, build a love for books, and strengthen the skills children will use throughout their educational journey. They also tie in perfectly with our Annual Read- A- Thon, where every page read helps support updated library centers in our classrooms. Thank you to all of our families for encouraging a love of reading at home and helping us create inspiring spaces where young readers can grow!

Our classrooms have been diving into The Rainbow Fish as part of our latest literacy project! 🌈🐠 Through stories, art, and hands-on activities, our students are discovering the importance of kindness, friendship, and sharing while building early literacy skills.

You can help keep the love of reading growing by supporting our Read-A-Thon Fundraiser! Every donation will go towards a refreshed classroom library and a cozy space for the children at TEAMS Learning Center.
