Wellington Library Friends Community fundraising for Wellington Public Library, Used Bookstore, Education

The Wellington Library Friends 501(c)(3) is a group of volunteers committed to supporting the mission of the Wellington Public Library. We work closely with the library staff to identify projects, equipment, or events where the Friends can provide financial or other means of support. Examples of recent Friends’ involvement with the library include:
- Hosting of bi-annual book sales, usually in Jun

e and September
- Purchase of a 3-D Printer for the Library
- Contributions to the Summer Reading Program, community events and speakers. Used Book Store
The Library Friends operate the Used Book Store (UBS) across the hall from the library in the Leeper Center. Sales of books, DVDs, audio books and other items generate funding to support the work of the Friends.

Lots of Books! Based on supplies used the WLF estimate 6000 to 8000 books came through the store in 2025! Books are sold in the store, on line and at the twice yearly book sales. All money goes to support the Wellington Community Library! Thanks to all who help make that happen!
