Early bird registration ends today! Join us for the 2026 USA Hockey Blind Classic! This exciting event will take place on November 20-22, 2026, at the Flyers Training Center in Voorhees, NJ. All on-ice activities begin at 2 pm on the 20th and end at 12:00 pm on the 22nd, so please plan your travel accordingly.

Registration is open for individuals. All registrations received and paid before October 10th receive a $25 discount ($150 per player). Registrations received between October 11th and October 31st are $175 per player. Registration will require your current 26/27 USA Hockey Membership number and your skill level.

All on-ice coaches (with valid USAH coaching credentials) and volunteers (with valid USAH registration, SafeSport and background screening) are also required to register to attend. The fee for coaches and volunteers is $0. Hope you join us for the Classic!

On behalf of the U.S. Blind Hockey Team, we are honored that The Gaudreau Family Foundation have awarded our community with this gift. We are excited to be heading to New Jersey in November for the USA Hockey Blind Hockey Classic. Thank you so much and let’s get ready to hit the ice!

Announcing our first-ever grant!

The Gaudreau Family Foundation is proud to award $50,213 to support the 2026 USA Hockey Blind Classic, hosted by the Atlantic Amateur Hockey Association this November 20-22 in Voorhees, NJ - bringing together blind and visually impaired hockey players from across the nation.

“John & Matty believed hockey belonged to everyone, no matter who you were or where you came from. Supporting the USA Hockey Blind Classic was an easy decision, it’s a chance to grow the game they loved. We know John & Matty would be proud to see their names attached to something that opens doors for others,” – Jane, Guy, Kristen & Katie Gaudreau.

This grant, and the work of our foundation, wouldn’t be possible without the Gaudreau Family 5K Run/Walk & Family Day and every single person who shows up to honor the lives and legacies of John & Matty.

This grant is proof of what our community makes possible.

We send our deepest sympathies to the family of Joseph Del Grande and the blind hockey community, especially those who knew him well in Canada. We know him as someone who was always smiling around the ice hockey rink and especially when his family was there watching him. We will put our sticks out to honor you Joseph. Thank you for sharing your love of hockey with us.

The Toronto Ice Owls mourn the loss of one of our very dear friends, Joseph Del Grande, and a cherished member of our hockey family.
Joseph was a valued teammate and friend whose presence, kindness, and love of the game touched so many of us. He will be deeply missed, both on and off the ice.
Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with Joseph‘s family, his friends and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Joseph will forever remain in our hearts and will always be a part of the Ice Owls family.
Rest in peace Joseph. Thank you for all the memories. You will never be forgotten.
