The SNIP program has helped Davidson County over the past 8 years with reducing the the risk of domestic animals populating with our low cost spay/neuter program, we are so lucky and proud to say today there are so many alternatives now for affordable spay and neutering.
The Davidson County Animal Alliance and Ruff Love Rescue have decided to step back from this program at this time to allow these other wonderful partners to continue delivering the vital support our county needs.
SNIP’s last surgery day will be on December 15th, 2026. Any final applications must be mailed in no later than October 31st, 2026.
Davidson County Animal Alliance and Ruff Love Rescue could not be happier for the nearly 6,000 spay/neuter surgeries that we have helped with over the years and the hundreds, if not thousands, of unwanted litters that have been prevented through SNIP.
