Waynesboro Generals Visit the Waynesboro Generals at www.waynesborogenerals.net. The league adopted the use of wooden bats in 1993. The Waynesboro Generals ballpark is dog-friendly.

The Waynesboro Generals play in the Valley Baseball League, a summer baseball league founded in 1923 that plays in cities and towns in the Shenandoah Valley in Virgina.

The Valley League became an NCAA-sanctioned league in 1961. The VBL is funded in part by a grant from Major League Baseball and is a member of the National Alliance of College Summer Baseball, a national affiliation of summer leagues. The league has produced well over 1,000 professional baseball players, including a record 79 former players drafted in the Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft in 2008. The Waynesboro Generals play their home games at Kate Collins Field at Kate Collins Middle School, 1625 Ivy Street, Waynesboro. We completed our first week of Generals baseball on Sunday, and we are proud to announce our hitter of the week to kick off the 2026 season. Building homes with Oaktree Builders, Inc. , and sliding into home is Nicholas April-Gath. Nicholas comes to us from Florida South Western State and wearing #1 this season. Congratulations Nicholas and keep slugging away.

June 3 Top Pitching Performances
Dylan Mullan Waynesboro Generals (Webber International) pitched five shutout innings and allowed three hits. He struck out six and did not walk a batter.
Gregory Quintana Purcellville Cannons (Lafayette) allowed no earned run on two hits in 4.2 innings. He struck out nine and walked one.

Gens win in 7 innings, 10 to 0! Way to bring the GENergy. We travel to Charlottesville Thursday for 7:00 start time.
