It is no small feat to be named first team all conference for a varsity sport. Senior Cadet Ezersky ‘26 left a lasting imprint on the Fishburne baseball team, and helped propel the Caissons to the postseason tournament. Congratulations to Cadet Ezersky, and also a congratulations to Cadet Mazzetti ‘26 receiving Honorable Mention. Go Caissons!

Senior Cadet, Ryan Barone ‘26, will be graduating from Fishburne next week with a little extra hardware:

Cadet Barone ‘26 has won the Virginia State Freestyle Championship, earning a spot on the VA National Team. He will compete for a national title and All-American status in Fargo North Dakota later this summer.

Barone leaves an extraordinary legacy at Fishburne, and achieved three historic firsts: becoming the first five-time team captain in Fishburne history, becoming the first wrestler in school history to surpass 200 career wins, and becoming Fishburne’s first-ever freestyle state champion.

Cadet Barone will continue his wrestling career this fall at The Citadel.
