As the cost of living continues to climb, more Pennsylvanians are turning to food banks to feed their families.

State programs like the State Food Purchase Program (SFPP) and the Pennsylvania Agricultural Surplus System (PASS) are critical to keeping shelves stocked with fresh, nutritious food while supporting Pennsylvania farmers and local economies. We served 103 guests yesterday - our second largest distribution ever. We could not do it without our volunteers. Especially regulars like Ben and Maryann. They come in several times a week to help us. 💕

Today is the day! Delco Gives Day is taking place NOW until 7pm. During this time, participating nonprofits will earn bonus dollars based on the number of donations ($10 or more) that they receive.

Wayne Cares is proud to be a part of the third annual Delco Gives Day on May 6th and 7th.

Wayne Cares will receive bonus dollars based on the number of donors who give to us during Delco Gives. Donations made through the online portal from 7:00 p.m. on May 6 through 7:00 p.m. on May 7 will qualify for cash prizes! Community support means so much to us. Today Airgas dropped off donations from a food drive they hosted. We sorted so much cereal, canned chicken, pasta sauce etc! Our guests will love the variety. And a volunteer came in to put together a new shelf to hold our produce donations. Thank you!
