What a beautiful way to close out another incredible year at The Saturday Club 💚🤍

We often celebrate the women who volunteer, lead and give back in our communities, but it’s just as important to champion and celebrate our young philanthropists, too. Watching these kids learn the value of service, empathy and generosity has been one of the greatest joys of this club year.

At our TSC Kids End of Year Social last Monday, May 18th, our members showed exactly what this club is all about - kindness, compassion and community.

At the beginning of each club year, our TSC Kids members receive “Kindness Jars,” where they collect donations in exchange for doing good deeds, helping others, and serving their communities throughout the year. Through those efforts, our kids collected over $800 for Fostering Hope, an organization dedicated to supporting children in foster care with essentials, resources and dignity during times of transition.

Our kids and volunteers also worked together to organize 25 hospital bags for Help Hope Live, a nonprofit that helps families facing catastrophic medical challenges and fundraising burdens. The hope bags will be donated to patients at Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital. We also collected donations for the bags from our volunteers for the initiative, and had volunteers supporting the Hope Travels 5K that same weekend.

We are so proud of these kids, not just for what they accomplished, but for the heart behind it all! Thank you to our families, volunteers and supporters for another meaningful year filled with growth, friendship and giving back.

See you all in the Fall 💫 cheers to Summer!

Service, stewardship and community impact were on full display as members of The Saturday Club and TSC Kids Club spent Saturday May 2nd volunteering at Spring Brook Farm in Malvern, PA - a remarkable organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children and adults with disabilities through therapeutic recreation, education and meaningful connections with animals and nature.

Together, members and TSC Kids helped repaint signs, plant flowers throughout the gardens and spent time with some very sweet farm animals - all while supporting a mission rooted in inclusion, compassion and joy.

Through our donation drive, we were also able to contribute items to further support Spring Brook Farm’s programming and daily operations, including bocce and playground balls, sensory toys, magnetic tiles, imaginative play sets, educational toys and meals and treats for the animals.

We are so grateful to Spring Brook Farm for welcoming us and for the incredible work they do each day… the kids loved it!

Mother’s Day is a meaningful occasion to honor the mothers and mother figures whose presence, support and care shape the foundation of our families and recognizing the profound influence women have across generations.

The Saturday Club was pleased to celebrate this tradition on April 25th at our first ever Mother’s Day Tea, welcoming members and guests for an afternoon of connection, conversation and appreciation. It was a lovely opportunity to slow down and recognize the many ways important women to us enrich our lives, both within our homes and throughout our community.

We are grateful to all who joined us in making that afternoon so special, and we extend our warmest wishes for a very Happy Mother’s Day today; to the moms, like-a-moms, dog moms, work moms, mom-friends, and anyone in between. You are appreciated 💐

Last Thursday, our members gathered for one of our most anticipated Community Outreach of the year - our Favorite Things event. While it’s always a fun evening of sharing beauty products, wellness and self-care products, it’s also a meaningful celebration sharing with our community.

Each member brought three of their favorite items: two to exchange with fellow members, and one to donate to Home of the Sparrow - Pennsylvania - an organization dedicated to supporting women facing homelessness and financial hardship as they work toward stability and independence.

This year, our group came together to donate about 45 different products. From beauty essentials to thoughtful self-care items, each contribution was chosen with care - all with the intention of helping women feel seen, valued and supported.

These donations will go toward Home of the Sparrow’s Mother’s Day shop, where children can “shop” for special gifts for their moms at no cost - creating a meaningful and dignified experience for families during a time that can be especially challenging.

An evening that brings members together while directly supporting women in our community… something we’re proud to be part of!

Last night, The Saturday Club proudly awarded our Annual Philanthropy Grants to nine incredible and well deserving local non-profit organizations whose missions align with ours - supporting women, children, and families in the Greater Philadelphia area. One of our favorite meetings of the year, this is when connection between the work we do and the impact it has on our community truly comes to life, as we welcome representatives from each organization to accept their grant and hear about the incredible work they do.

Each year, from September through May, our club members dedicate themselves to both hands-on service and fundraising efforts. The funds we raise during this time support our Annual Grant Program, which provides funding to deserving organizations whose work helps shape our community for the better.

We are incredibly proud of the opportunity to connect with these organizations and are honored to support them!
