Founded in 1886, The Saturday Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization of women volunteers with a mission of service and philanthropy.

Our fundraising benefits our Annual Grant Fund, supporting local organizations helping women, children & families.

With October being Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we thank everyone who is advocating for those in need, no matter if for yourself or others. You make a difference!

The Saturday Club was honored to recently host Author and Activist Denise Brown, Main Point Books and Laurel House at our clubhouse for the launch and booksigning of her new release, For My Sister Nicole. In conversation with Laurel House, Denise shared her own story and learnings since the death of her sister, Nicole Brown Simpson. She reminds us of how we can all become more knowledgeable in the signs, raise awareness, offer support and compassion, and individually make a difference.

The Saturday Club Snippets: It is all about the Clubhouse! Our History Continues...

☑️128 years ago on October 17, 1898: The contract was signed to build the current clubhouse with J.B. Lengel. Architect Mr. David Knickerbocker Boyd was hired, and it was eventually decided that the design was to copy the architecture of Shakespeare’s home.
☑️February 8, 1977: The Clubhouse joined the Pennsylvania Inventory of Historic Places
☑️March 14, 1978: The Clubhouse joined the National Register of Historic Places
✅August 28, 2026: Roofing replaced The Clubhouse roof following our historical footsteps.

The 140th Club Year Continues, so please join us the second Tuesday of the month at our Prospective and Membership Meetings. Or, reach out to rent our beautiful Historical building!
