It’s Thursday at The Catz Den! We’re open from 8am-noon for our Purr-fect Cup Coffee & Kitty Hours, then back open from 3pm-8pm for more kitty time, and our adoption hours are 5pm-8pm, so if you’ve been thinking about adding a furry friend to your family, Thursday is a great night to stop in and meet some candidates!! 🐾

Barn needed for a female kitty. We have a wild and SCARED adult female who just needs her own space. She is afraid of anything human. Former mom, now spayed and ready for her own life. Requirements are a shelter of some type, straw for the winter for heat, a source of heated water in the winter and cat food to fill what she doesn’t hunt on her own. Donation for rehoming is appreciated but not required.

It's almost been a full year of our Purr-fect Cup Coffee & Kitty Hours!! We launched this last September and we’re still so pleased with the success of our coffee hours at The Catz Den!! This is the purr-fect way to start of your day! And you being here helps keep our kitties company!! Come grab one of our $3 specialty latte drinks that rotate every other month! ☕

You can also enjoy a sweet treat from Stud Muffins Cafe & Bakery! And you can have a blast on our touch screen game table (you can see Miso trying his paw at Operation 😹).

Feel free to curl up with a book and a kitty, work on a craft, or just hang out with some of our amazing kitties. There’s always something to do, and plenty of kitty time to go around! We hope to see you soon!! 🐾

Today!!! VIP Teen Hours are BACK at The Catz Den! 🎒

Our doors are open for teens to join us throughout the school year on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays after school from 3pm-5:30pm to hang out, relax, play games, do crafts, get some homework done, and enjoy free snacks and of course hangout with The Catz Den kitties! 🐾

NEW this school year: use one of our reusable cups (or bring your own) and get a FREE slushy! 🥤We’re excited to have our teens back! Our VIP Teens Program is made possible by the Allegan County Community Foundation!! 🙏🏼

Reminder to sign up if you are interested in our September 6th Make and Take at The Catz Den!! We’re bringing some late summer vibes with Sunflower Bandana Wreaths! 🌻

Join us on Sunday, September 6th at 1pm for an afternoon of crafting your own beautiful sunflower wreath to take home! And of course you'll spend some time hanging out with our kitties too!! 🐾

Amythest update: One week after being found in the road on Main ST.

We have come to the conclusion that this poor baby was dropped out of a car window. A corner of her pelvic bone is broken off. The only way that can happen is by falling directly on it bottom first. With a cat that has to be done a short distance from the ground.

The good news is she has not suffered an injury that will require surgery. Just some weeks of cage rest and lots of love.

The odd thing is she had a previous injury to her neck where fur had been shaved away so it could heal. And a spot on her arm where a vet would have drawn blood from. Someone cared for her at one tim to be abandoned again.

Thursday’s are for hanging out at The Catz Den (Kit Kat has the right idea)! Here’s our Thursday Purr-view!!! To start the day we’re open for our Purr-fect Cup Coffee & Kitty Hours 8am–noon and then later The Catz Den opens back up from 3pm-8pm (with adoption hours 5pm-8pm) 😸

Every Thursday we feature 4 adoptable kitties, this week they are some of our longest tenured residents who would LOVE to find their forever home sooner rather than later: Kit Kat, Salem, Monroe and Mushu (yes, she still needs a home) 💕
