Our nonprofit services cater to the spouses and children of our veterans, and first responder community who like the veterans, also need counselors and mental health treatment. We have found the lack of reediness when it comes to our families and therefore establishing low-simulated crisis Community Family Wellness Centers throughout the United States is what we strive for, offering families a s

The focus will be to educate the family on mental health, PTSD, TBI, and its correlation to suicide. seeks to be on the forefront of changing how information about these subjects are presented – translating on an age appropriate level. Combining our efforts to have an holistic approach we focus on the team aspect as a whole and not just an individual, we assist in the individual and services needed but incorporated the family throughout whole journey. Family first, they depend on us the most.

We have replenished our supply of smoke alarms from MI Prevention and need your help getting these FREE alarms out to the community. These free smoke and combination smoke/carbon monoxide alarms are a great opportunity to upgrade existing alarms that are nearing the end of their service life or are no longer working. We can also obtain bed shaker and strobe alarms to accommodate those with disabilities.

These alarms are available to residents in the City of Wayland and Wayland Township. To schedule installation for the free alarms, please contact Firefighter Ryan Penny at 269-509-6185 or [email protected].

🇺🇸🖤🇺🇸 🇺🇸🖤🇺🇸

🇺🇸The fold of our flag is a symbol of life.

🇺🇸The fold signifies our belief in eternal life.

🇺🇸The fold is made in honor and tribute of the veteran departing our ranks, and who gave a portion of his or her life for the defense of our country to attain peace.

🇺🇸The fold exemplifies our weaker nature as citizens trusting in God; it is to Him we turn for His divine guidance.

🇺🇸The fold is an acknowledgment to our country, for in the words of Stephen Decatur, “Our country, in dealing with other countries, may she always be right, but it is still our country, right or wrong.”

🇺🇸The fold is for where our hearts lie. It is with our heart that we pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

🇺🇸The fold is a tribute to our armed forces, for it is through the armed forces that we protect our country and our flag against all enemies.

🇺🇸The fold is a tribute to the one who entered into the valley of the shadow of death, that we might see the light of day, and to honor our mother, for whom it flies on Mother’s Day.

🇺🇸The fold is an honor to womanhood, for it has been through their faith, love, loyalty.

🇺🇸The fold is a tribute to father, for he, too, has given his sons and daughters for the defense of our country since he or she was first-born.

🇺🇸The fold, in the eyes of Hebrew citizens, represents the lower portion of the seal of King David and King Solomon and glorifies, in their eyes, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

🇺🇸The fold, in the eyes of a Christian citizen, represents an emblem of eternity and glorifies, in their eyes, God the Father, the Son, and Holy Ghost.

🇺🇸The , when the flag is completely folded, the stars are uppermost, reminding us of our national motto, “In God We Trust" devotion that the character of the men and women who have made this country great have been molded.

As fires burn far away and the world feels unsettled, we stop and take in a moment that reaches beyond debate, beyond breaking news, beyond all the noise.

We lift up our troops in prayer.

Every uniform is worn by a real person.
Every assignment is carried out by a living soul.
Every deployment leaves loved ones behind, counting the days until homecoming.

These men and women serve in places many of us will never go, facing realities many of us will never fully grasp. They bear duty. They bear discipline. They bear bravery. And at times, they bear silent worry no one else can see.

The sight of a service member lowering their head in prayer speaks to something powerful and deeply human. In the middle of turmoil, faith still endures. In the midst of danger, hope still burns. Even where fear is present, God’s presence can still be felt.

We pray that they are given courage when every second matters.
We pray that they are covered with protection when danger closes in.
We pray that their minds stay clear, their bodies stay strong, and their hearts stay steady when weariness presses hard.

We also pray for the families who wait.

For the mothers lying awake through the night.
For the husbands and wives watching their phones for any sign of news.
For the children holding onto memories, longing for the embrace of someone they love.

May God watch over every unit, every road traveled, every post, and every mission.
May He quiet fearful hearts and guard each life in harm’s way.
May He carry them through and bring them safely home.

When the world feels unsteady, prayer is not frailty.
It is faith moving.
It is hope refusing to die.

So today we pause.
We pray.
We remember.
And we lift up our troops.

May bravery lead them.
May God surround them with His protection.

Amen 🇺🇲🖤🇺🇲
