Tosa East Towne Neighborhood Association TETNA is an active neighborhood association located on the east side of Wauwatosa, WI. Another benefit is free advertisement for our Neighborhood Rummage Sale.

Since 1995, the Tosa East Towne Neighborhood Association (TETNA) has been helping neighbors connect with neighbors to create a strong, active
community. A membership in TETNA allows you to participate in any of the events we host throughout the year. The membership fee supports free events like the Block Party and Movie Night, the Spring Egg Hunt in Center Street Park, and the widely popular Trick

-or-Treat. For an additional fee members enjoy the annual Kneeland-Walker House adult social. Also, your membership pays for the newsletter all neighborhood residents—members and non-members—receive four times a year. Association events are meant for members, but if you are new to the neighborhood or have just never joined, you are welcome to come to one of our events to see what fun we have. East Towne can also hook you up with neighborhood playgroups and book clubs and the Holiday Cookie Exchange. Ambitious kids and teens can list themselves in the youth services directory. High school students can apply for our annual scholarship award!

STREET CLOSURES SATURDAY: Here's a flashback video from 2016... our Run Tosa Run course in under 2 minutes! (Details are still at runtosarun.org but registration is closed.)

And the course will be the same this Saturday at 9 a.m. That means some streets will be mostly or entirely closed while runners are on the course, particularly Clarke, Wright, Meinecke, 74th, 62nd and that weird little jig-jag on Hennessey.

If you live inside the course and will need to leave between 8:30 and 10 a.m. May 16, please consider moving your car outside the course in advance. Our course marshals will allow motorists through the cross streets only when runners are not present.

Run Tosa Run, raising money for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Wisconsin, is May 16! If you aren't running and have about an hour to spare that morning, we could use your help volunteering at one of the intersections on the course marked in red.

Claim a spot near your house and help us ensure the safety of the runners as they pass by! Course marshals also get one of our nifty race T-shirts. Let us know you can help...

We are looking forward to hearing more about the East Tosa BID at the TETNA Annual Meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, at Roosevelt Elementary — all neighbors invited! The BID also invites Tosa East Towners to join a clean-up this Sunday morning, April 19.

A big thanks to all who came out for last week's Spring Egg Hunt and (inaugural) Spring Social at Center Street Park, with continuing support from Ruckus & Glee. And thanks to the Larsens for coordinating. Between the crafts, the bunny, the vendor tables and the hunt itself, plenty of fun was had by all!
