Our Story
Ancient Order of Hibernians, Rev William J Kelly S.J. Division
The AOH is the premiere organization in Milwaukee for Catholic men of Irish heritage to contribute to the local community while having a great time doing it!
Each year the Brothers of the AOH participate in Milwaukee's two St. Patrick's Day parades, host a VIP Suite at the Miller Oasis during Irish Fest, serve as ushers during the Irish Fest Mass, hold the annual Taste of Ireland event in September with 500 of their closest friends, and have monthly meetings to learn about good Irish stuff while raising a pint or two.
Milwaukee's Rev. William J. Kelly, S.J. Division, has raised over $400,000 in the past three decades, including over $150,000 in the past five years alone at the Taste of Ireland event, for Catholic education and other local charities in Milwaukee.
About the AOH:
The Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) is the oldest Catholic Irish-American fraternal organization in America, dedicated to the principles of Friendship, Unity, and Christian Charity. Founded in New York City in 1836, the AOH now has thousands of members nationwide.
