Now, CelticMKE is thrilled to offer art and music classes, fun family events, and concerts from some of the world’s best Irish, Irish American and Celtic musicians all year long. CelticMKE is home to a number of Celtic programs, cultural heritage projects, and events. The Ward Irish Music Archives, housed in our headquarters in Wauwatosa, contains the world’s largest collection of Irish, Irish Ame
rican, and Celtic music recordings and ephemera. We’re proud to support the talented young musicians who perform in the Irish Fest Choir at the festival and on international tours. Our doors are also open to the public all year for classes in music through our School of Music, and a special weeklong series of classes in language, dance, crafts, and culture called Summer School. In addition to offering classes, lectures, and events, CelticMKE is dedicated to giving back through our Foundation. Established in 1994, the Foundation has granted over $600,000 to non-profit entities in Ireland, Northern Ireland, Canada and the United States. Finally, CelticMKE is thrilled to continue bringing our signature event, Milwaukee Irish Fest, to the public each August. With hundreds of musicians and artists from around the globe performing on 17 stages at Milwaukee’s Henry W.
