✨☂️ Thank You for Believing in the Magic

Now that the curtain has closed on Mary Poppins, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, applauded our young performers, and supported youth theatre by spending time with us at the Veninga Theater. Your presence made this production truly special.

We are incredibly grateful to our talented cast, dedicated director Brenton Kniess, choreographer Liesl Sigourney, vocal directors Kristine Lato and LaTonya Sala, costume designer Norah Brown, pit orchestra director Chad Premeau, stage manager David Holcomb, hair and makeup designer Morgan Kieffer, lighting designer KC Hofer, sound designer/board operator Tori Reeves, lead set builders Paul Mathis, Cory Pagel, & John Miller, our hardworking crew, gifted orchestra musicians, and the countless volunteers whose time, energy, and passion brought this magical story to life. From the first rehearsal to the final bow, each person helped create something unforgettable.

To our families, sponsors, donors, and audiences: thank you for believing in the power of theatre to inspire confidence, creativity, friendship, and joy in young people.

As Mary Poppins reminds us:

☂️ A Father's Day Message from Cherry Tree Lane ☂️

In every theatre company, there are a few things that make the magic possible:

A little imagination.
A bit of hard work.
And a whole lot of dads.

The dads who drive to rehearsals.
The dads who build sets.
The dads who move scenery, sell concessions, and cheer from the audience.
The dads who help their children find the courage to step into the spotlight.

Today, we celebrate all the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, and father figures who help our young performers discover just how extraordinary they can be.

As Mary Poppins herself might say, while a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down, a supportive dad helps dreams take flight.
