What an honor. Out of almost 600 volunteer patrols across the United States as part of the National Ski Patrol, Watertown Ski Patrol was named National Outstanding Small Alpine Patrol.
We also had two patrollers recognized for 50 years of service, Bert Ebeling and Dan VanNess.
Three patrollers were recognized for there lifesaving skills with Blue Merit Stars, Rod Voss, Matt Dickinson and Nathan Pistner.
Congratulations to all for your dedication, hard work and hours on the hill to make these awards possible.

Summer training has begun👍🏻🇺🇸

As part of the OEC Refresher, patrollers participate in hands-on skills sessions that apply emergency care knowledge to real-world practice.

Across the country, patrollers are participating in field-based scenarios and other assessments to test the skills they rely on when responding to incidents in challenging outdoor environments.

It’s one more way NSP education helps prepare patrollers to better assist ski area guests.
