This is Cordero! Despite a normal pregnancy, when Cordie was born he was not breathing and he had no heartbeat; he was completely limp and blue. He spent 40 days in the NICU where he was diagnosed with Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy, or HIE, a brain injury that is caused by a lack of oxygen and blood flow.

Cordie has both muscle stiffness and low muscle tone, vision impairment, and is fed exclusively through a G-tube due to swallowing difficulties. On top of all this, he also has a rare genetic condition.

Despite his challenges, Cordie is joyful and always smiling. His family is proud of how hard he works and all he's overcome. Children's Miracle Network funds have provided financial support for Cordie's medical expenses and extensive travel for specialized care.

Children's Miracle Network funds recently purchased three new infant ventilators for the NICU at Samaritan Medical Center, providing critical respiratory support for newborns who aren't yet able to breathe on their own.

Donations to CMN assist child-centered areas of Samaritan, helping ensure the best care possible for kids in our community. 💙💛

Meet Abby! In March 2025, at just 13 years old, Abby was diagnosed with high-risk T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma. She has endured countless rounds of chemotherapy, numerous blood and platelet transfusions, and a life-threatening infection that led to months of rehabilitation.

Today Abby is back in school and in the maintenance phase of treatment. Getting here hasn’t been easy, but she continues to fight with incredible strength. Thanks to donations, CMN has provided financial support to help ease the burden of travel and medical expenses for Abby's family.

This is Ashton. In April of this year, just two months before his high school graduation, Ashton was diagnosed with metastatic Ewing Sarcoma. He has a very large inoperable tumor in his pelvis that has spread to his thigh and is displacing several organs, as well as bone lesions.

Ashton recently rang the bell to mark the completion of a critical course of radiation and will hopefully finish chemotherapy in December. There is still a long road ahead, but he's facing it with courage and determination. Donations to Children's Miracle Network help Ashton's family with the costs of extensive travel and specialized medical care.
