SPECIAL NEIFB EVENT: Join us for a conversation with award-winning journalist, author, and University of Iowa graduate Roger Thurow!

On Monday, October 19, the Northeast Iowa Food Bank will welcome Roger Thurow for a discussion about his latest book, Abiding Hunger: An American Paradox.

After spending decades reporting on hunger around the world, including 30 years with The Wall Street Journal, Thurow turns his attention to hunger right here in America. His latest book explores why millions of Americans struggle to put food on the table in one of the wealthiest countries in the world.

We invite you to join us for this important conversation about hunger, the challenges families face, and what we can do to help.
