The Nest Program Serving Black Hawk, Buchanan, and Grundy Counties

Families may earn points by attending our parent education groups and maintaining healthy habits during pregnancy and early childhood. Points may then be redeemed for items such as diapers, wipes, breastfeeding supplies, and other childcare items. Eligibility:
Nest Programs serve income-eligible expectant families and families with children up to 5 years of age who reside in Black Hawk, Buchanan

and Grundy Counties. To be eligible, families must have income at or below 185% of the federal poverty level or eligible for WIC. The Nest Program Thanks our Supporters: Cedar Valley's Promise, The Maternal Infant Early Childhood Home Visitation Expansion Program, Building Directions For Families, Prevent Child Abuse Iowa, The Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa, Cedar Valley United Way, The Guernsey Foundation, Wal-Mart, and our many local supporters who give generously. Your tax deductible cash donation can help us to continue to provide incentive items to our program participants. We welcome donations of diapers, baby wipes, bath items, new infant clothing, blankets, toys, and books as well! We also accept donations of gently used infant clothing.
