Do you want to be apart of history and help a good cause? Hi; my name is Dayton Zabriskie from former Boy Scout Troop 157. I have been in scouts for over 9 years and am currently working on my Eagle Scout project.
For my project I will be building a patio with engraved bricks for the Karen Nash Memorial Butterfly Garden located at Memorial School at 300 West Stewart St., Washington, NJ in Warren County. The patio will be a reading garden that can be used as a natural bird and wildlife observation area, overlooking the garden and providing great views of the quarter-acre schoolyard, wildlife habitat garden.
This project will be possible with the support of sponsored engraved bricks ordered now through March 16, 2020. If you would like to help out, you could buy a custom engraved brick by making a donation at two contribution levels:
SILVER DONORS: will contribute $100 for a 4X8 inch brick, (and)
GOLD DONORS: contribute $200+ for a 12X12 inch brick.
Donation checks are payable to the KNMBG and must be included with an Engraved Brick Order Form mailed to: The KNMBG, Memorial School, 300 West Stewart St., Washington, NJ 07882 Attn: Mrs. Leala Gonzales/ Butterfly Garden.
If you would like to help contribute to the project you can buy a custom engraved brick using the form below. If you would like to help out in a different way, any donations would be appreciated.
Additional KNMBG Brick Order forms are located in the Outdoor Announcement Board located at the entrance to the KNMBG Butterfly Garden at Memorial School at 300 West Stewart St., Washington, NJ 07882. Thank you for supporting this community garden and my Eagle Scout Project. Brick orders postmarked by March 16 will be included in this project.

Order an engraved brick by March 16, 2020 to support the Spring Eagle Project planned by Dayton Zabriskie, to complete two patios in the Karen Nash Memorial Butterfly Garden at Memorial School in Washington, NJ.
In the patios, there will be memorial benches and engraved bricks that tell a story of loved ones among us, business, class, club, and family sponsors, the love of teachers, school classes, local teams, community clubs, emergency response groups, and memories of families, and friends. The goal per brick is to collect $100 to $200. A $100 contribution = 4x8 inch brick. A $200 contribution = 12x12 inch brick.

One patio is the small seating area in front of the Garden’s Announcement Board, and the second patio is a reading patio, located at the top of the garden which will serve as a natural wildlife observation area.

Engraved bricks will help fund the patio projects. Here are some suggestions to gather funds: An employee, club member, class, or family member can pass around an envelope to take a collection. Businesses are invited to set up a collection container for change.

On behalf of Boy Scout Troop 157 we would like to thank the Washington Celebrates America committee for all their hard work. Countless hours are spent in planning and executing this awesome celebration. Not only were they the last ones to leave the fields last evening, but were back early this morning to clean up. I would also like to thank Boy Scout Troop 157 and 154 for helping them clean up the fields. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of our scouts or the celebration committee volunteers cleaning up the fields but they did a great job. We would also like to thank everyone who supported Troop 157 and 154 concession stand at the fireworks.
