NJ4S Somerset, Hunterdon, and Warren Counties NJ4S offers services to meet the needs of students and families in Northwestern New Jersey.

The NJ4S Student Support Services Hub includes services to meet the needs of students and families in Hunterdon, Somerset, and Warren Counties. Services in these counties are provided by Center For Family Services.

We added another EOM for May! Azra we thank you for helping your other staff members with a big task that we took on! Congratulations Azra!

A little about Azra: Azra is a prevention consultant with NJ4S for the last 6 months but in the field for over a decade with specialized training and survivor-centered trauma-informed care. Being a survivor herself, her career has also been focused on changing the narrative around child protection by shifting from reactive crisis management to proactive community-wide prevention. She also works as a behavior therapist and is a safety care specialist. She is a DVRT, SART, NFSSRT and a legal advocate volunteer. She is a firm believer that no problem is too big that it can’t be fixed with three consecutive espresso shots mixed with kindness and respect. Her dedication to her work raises the bar everywhere she goes and probably a few eyebrows too! 😊

Congratulations Marissa! Thank you for all here you do here at NJ4S!

A little about Marissa: I am Marissa Broderick, a Prevention Consultant in the Washington office! I have been with NJ4S for about 18 months now and have thoroughly enjoyed working with the different students and communities across our vicinage. As a PC we have many roles: educator, planner, learner, and so on which makes every day exciting and filled with new challenges! One of my favorite aspects of the job is leading my tier 2 with a Hunterdon County middle school. It is fulfilling to see the students grow and mature throughout the school year as we dive deeper into the program. Another part of the job I enjoy is getting involved in special projects or tasks, most recently NJ4S hosted a luncheon in celebration of our 10 scholarship award recipients. It was a challenging task to take on the behind the scenes logistics of the banquet but fulfilling to see the students accept their award and scholarship at the luncheon in front of family, friends, and their school staff. I love working for NJ4S and look forward to furthering my connections with students and community figures in our counties!
