On September 17–18, The Arc of Warren County joined DSPs, advocates, self-advocates, provider agencies, and industry leaders at the annual NJ DSP Empowering Excellence Conference at (Golden Nugget Atlantic City)!

The conference celebrated the vital work of DSPs while focusing on professional growth, person-centered support, community inclusion, best practices, and workforce recruitment and retention. We were especially proud to celebrate Elizabeth Martinetti, The Arc of Warren County’s recipient of the 2026 Empowering Excellence Award! 🏆🧡

Thank you to all the DSPs who make a difference every day! 💙

We were honored to gather at Camp Warren alongside the Washington Rotary Club, Jame's wife Julie, and James’s daughter, Abby, to install memorial plaques on the benches donated in memory of James Hoover. 🪑🌳James was the founder of The Arc Foundation and a truly outstanding member of our community. His dedication, generosity, and commitment to making a difference continue to leave a lasting impact on so many lives.

We are grateful to everyone who helped make this meaningful memorial possible and proud to celebrate James’s legacy in a place where others can gather, reflect, and enjoy the beauty of Camp Warren. 💙
