New Year. Full Plates.

When people think of food pantries, they think of food—and that’s essential. But food is only part of what it takes to keep our pantry open.

Behind every bag of groceries is a building to maintain, refrigeration to keep food safe, utilities to keep the lights on, and a welcoming space where neighbors can pick up food with dignity.

Our pantry is funded entirely by our thrift store and the generosity of people like you.

💛 A monthly donation—no matter the size—creates steady, reliable support that helps us serve our community all year long, not just during the holidays.
If giving back is part of your New Year’s resolution, monthly giving is one of the most powerful ways to help. Sharing this post helps too.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed to the pet food collection at CB Pets. 💙

When someone is facing food insecurity, they’re too often forced to make an impossible choice between feeding themselves or feeding their pets. Your generosity helps remove that burden.

Pets are family—they provide comfort, companionship, and unconditional love, especially during hard times. Because of you, families can stay together and ensure every member of the household, two- and four-legged alike, has food on the table.

Thank you to CB Pets and to everyone who donated for showing such compassion and care for our community. 🐾

The CB Pet Market Washington Team sends many thanks to our wonderful customers and community members! Because of everyone’s generous donations to our Giving Tree this Holiday season we are able to donate over 12 Boxes of food and treats to The Washington Basket Food Pantry to help those in need!
Thank you so much everyone for your generosity together we can make a difference!

When someone walks through our doors, they’re not just looking for food.

They’re looking for relief. Stability. A place where they’re welcomed with dignity.

Behind every box of groceries is a warm, safe building, refrigeration that keeps food fresh, lights that stay on, and staff and volunteers ready to help without judgment. These needs don’t disappear after the holidays — they’re there every single day.

Our pantry exists because of our thrift store and the generosity of people who choose to give. Monthly donors are especially vital. Their steady support allows us to keep our doors open, our shelves stocked, and our community cared for all year long.

As you think about your New Year’s resolutions, consider one that shows up month after month for neighbors who need it most. Even a small monthly gift helps ensure no one has to wonder where their next meal will come from.
