⚖️ Stronger Laws Need Stronger Enforcement 💨

New Mexico already has important protections on the books for oil and gas pollution. The challenge has been making sure the state has enough staff and resources actually to enforce them. 🏭⚠️

That is starting to change. New permit fees for the oil and gas industry will help fund more inspections, stronger enforcement, and faster responses to pollution complaints across the state. 📋📈

Communities deserve more than promises. They deserve clean air, accountability, and agencies with the tools to protect public health. 🌎✊
