There’s a new AVA on the map! 🎉 On August 17, the TTB approved the Columbia Hills AVA in Washington State’s Klickitat County, entirely within the Columbia Valley AVA.

When it officially takes effect on September 16, 2026, Columbia Hills will become the 280th AVA in the United States and the 22nd in Washington State.
