Ecstatic Dance DC is the dance-iest dance floor in all of DC! Ecstatic Dance DC is a sober, free-movement and expression event.

An incredible diversity of people show up for one thing: to dance. All else - the magic, connection, energy - sprouts from that singular intention. This may also be the most musically diverse dance floor you've ever been on. Ecstatic Dance DJ sets intentionally feature a broad range of genres and tempos. We travel through ambient, classical, jazz, house, global bass, Afro-Latin, drum & bass, acoustic, and more! The music is dynamic to help keep your movements spontaneous and fresh.

With a professor of music theory for a father and a background steeped in classical piano, jazz, funk, and electronic influences, music has been central to his life from the start.

We’re so excited to gather this Thursday evening ((5.14.26)) for a very special extended edition of Ecstatic Dance with journeys by two incredible artists Noah Proudfoot and Ghost Pipe!! 🪘🤸‍♂️🪩✨

🪴 Our first 90 minute movement will be guided by Noah Proudfoot and then we’ll transition into the second 90 minute stretch with Ghost Pipe! Bringing your dancing feet!!

Ghost Pipe is the musical offering of holistic psychotherapist and professor of psychology and counseling, Connor Wills. Ghost Pipe is much more than just a DJ set; it’s a multi-instrumental, improvised offering to support the healing and spiritual growth of the listener and connect them with their ancestral roots through movement.
Whether an ecstatic dance, a late night festival slot, or a plant medicine ceremony, Ghost Pipe’s hybrid DJ and live percussion performances are always 100% unplanned and improvised.
