Kitten season has begun, and we’re preparing for an influx of tiny lives who will need safe, loving homes. 🐾

We are urgently looking for fosters! Whether you can help short-term (even just a few days for an emergency placement) or can offer a longer commitment, every bit of support truly makes a life-saving difference.

Fostering saves lives. It gives kittens—and sometimes moms—a chance to grow, heal, and thrive in a safe, comfortable home while they prepare for their forever families.

Current foster needs include:
• Nursing moms with kittens
• Litters of kittens
• Paired kittens
• Adult cats needing temporary placement

Just as the moon was full in the sky, there was a clanging sound: the trap had been triggered. Upon inspection, the trapper was shocked; instead of the intended stray dog, she had caught a pretty little kitty with chicken McNuggets🌕🍗

For obvious reasons, the gray-and-white bicolor cutie was named Moonie McNugget and was sent for spay and vaccinations. Although she was a bit shy, Moonie seemed to be friendly🐱

With ample time for decompression, Moonie McNugget has come out of her shell, seeking out pets and hanging out with the resident cats in her foster home💕

Moonie could be the center of your universe or join a home with friendly cats, as long as you’re willing to give her time to get comfortable. Then, she might even agree to lounge in your shirt pocket!👕

How it’s going vs how it started…

We clean up nice for our birthday, but this is what running a rescue really looks like😅

In the past year, we’ve gone from trying to find 3 missing cats to saving lives every single week😻🎉

It’s messy. It’s chaotic. It’s exhausting.
And it’s the most important thing we’ve ever done.

We have an announcement.

After a lot of thought, we’ve decided to step back from rescuing cats.

Moving forward, we’ll be focusing exclusively on dogs, alley rats, pigeons with strong personalities, and whatever is making that noise behind your dumpster at 2am.

Just kidding!

Hiiii! We’re back from our social media hibernation—hope you didn’t miss us too much. Check out our buddy Seth the Legend. He is a handsomely patterned 5-year-old who has recently retired from life as a street cat and discovered a fantastic new hiding spot.

Seth the Legend is extremely playful, LOVES to eat, and will ask for pets on his terms. He’s FIV+, but with proactive care, he can still have a long life with potential adopters.
